My Domain Expired
What was formerly msengara.com is now michaelsengara.com - because I didn’t have up-to-date credit card information left with my domain registrar. With their warning emails finding their way into my spam folder, I obviously didn’t get the message, as my url is now http://www.michaelsengara.com - in case you were wondering.

I’m not sure if this makes Shawn Kemp more or less impressive.
Little known fact about the “Reign Man:” he cannot palm the basketball. I know we’ve spent more time discussing hand size on this blog than any of us are comfortable with, but this is important because everybody’s favorite baby daddy, Shawn Kemp, never won a slam dunk title even though he’s got some of the best in-game dunks of the last 25 years.
It’s because he could not palm the ball. It limits what you can do for a dunk contest. You can see it in the image above as he attempts to dunk from the free throw line. He’s palming it using his forearm to “cradle” the ball in one hand. We’re all familiar with that technique.
From 1990-1994, Shawn Kemp did not win the slam-dunk contest; however, He WAS a runner-up twice: in 1991 to Dee Brown (pump up shoes and no look dunk) and in 1994 to Isiah Rider (between the legs dunk that’s simply impossible if you can’t palm the ball).
He thinks Griffin’s dunk over the car was weak sauce too.

Being banned by the NBA is one of the ways to creating a successful sneaker. Confused? The Air Jordan 1’s were banned by David Stern, and they went on to become one of the most successful sneakers ever.
The ‘Concept 1’ by Athletic Propulsion Labs were banned today by David Stern today, all but giving them tons of free publicity. Ridiculously priced at $300, even though there is little factual evidence of increased jumping gains. Hope no kids buy these at $300, that is absolutely ridiculous!

This is ridiculous. Pretty soon it will be only Converse Hi-Tops.
